Airsoft Guns are Dangerous?

I’ve always been a little overprotective of my kids. I caught them before they fell down, padded the whole house when they started crawling and walking, and make extra sure that everything is in it’s place so that nothing can be tripped over or choked on. I take my job pretty seriously. So when my son, my eight year old son asked me for an airsoft gun, I couldn’t believe my ears.

The first thought I had was of him shooting himself with it, and hurting himself. What if he shoots himself in the eye, or breaks the skin? Anything with the word guns in it can’t be good right? So I told him no airsoft guns. But of course, once my husband comes home, that could all change.
