DVD Player For The Car

I have heard that you can buy a dvd player for car use. I am intrigued with the idea of having one built into my dashboard. I have a really long commute and I often get stuck in traffic on the way to and from work, so I would be great to be able to watch a dvd while I’m sitting on the highway. Does anybody know if such a product exists? I’m hoping to buy the right dvd player online and then I have it installed by a local auto shop. Are there any particular brands that are better than another? Any details that I should be aware of before I start shopping?
