Making the Nursery Safe
As the responsible party of a family of small children, it is very important that we make the baby room safe. Pad corners of all sharp edges of the childrens furniture. If is has wheels, make sure it cannot roll around. Be sure that you have plug covers on all electric outlets. Make sure all blind cords are removed or tied so that they cannot strangle your child. If you have stuffed toys, do not keep them in the crib with your infant. Only the blanket they will be sleeping with should be in there. Pillows should not be used until babies can sit themselves up or longer if possible. Keep baby safe and you all will be happy.
