DOCUMENTARY ABOUT QUILTS COMING OUT
A documentary was recently created by a woman who has never actually sewn a quilt herself but has been involved in the appraisal, collecting and dealing of quilts for decades and working as an executive producer on the documentary, the woman sought to bring to the public’s eye the amazing importance that quilts have had over the past few centuries from the times when women were using clothing scraps as quilt fabric to today’s quilts which might not be made out of scraps but are made in much the same way as they were hundreds of years ago by women who were in the middle of the frontier.
