Neurological assessment
In medical professionals they really like to divide up their clinical assessment of patients through systematic steps. Gathering the initial history of the clients is the very first thing to do and their presenting complaints followed by reviewing the different body systems. For example there is the neurological assessment which assesses the neurological system with a number of neurological tests, such as the reflexes, muscle strength and sensation testing. The results are then compared to normal ranges. After the evaluation of the history and systems review, further testing such as blood tests and x-rays may be ordered. After this information becomes available a systematic clinical decision is made to arrive at a diagnosis then next treatment plan is developed.
