Spring Bass Fishing Movements And How To Find Them

When you are fishing around the time of the spring spawn, bass will have predictable movements. And especially just before they spawn, bass will be feeding heavily, thus making it easier for you to catch them. They’ll often come into the extreme shallow water, maybe even as little as one foot of water to spawn.
So when water temperatures hit the 65-70 degree mark, that’s when you want to be on the lake, and fishing the shallows. Look for areas where there is good, but sparse cover. The bass will likely being in sand patches that are surrounded by bulrushes or other vegetation that will provide protection for their young.
