I could never leave the house without my iPod. Since I take the subway on my way to work, it keeps me entertained while waiting for the next stop. Every day, I would see a man standing at the station playing his instruments while wishing that someone would drop some change on his cup, and I always make it a point to give him some of my coins if I have.

I wonder where he learned to play, or how much did he spend to get his sax, because I remember when I passed by a music shop, I saw a selmer mark vi sax on their display and they look so nice that I thought to myself they don’t come cheap.

My husband really caught me off guard a few days ago when he suggested that we use an attorney to make a will for us.  Even though I was surprised, he did make me think.  Fortunately, we have built a profitable business and don’t have any financial worries.  We will be able to have our children well cared for if anything were to happen to us.  My husband is absolutely right. I can’t believe we haven’t bothered to make a will sooner.  We need to hire a really good New York probate attorney to plan our estate and draw up a will.

I like to collect various pieces of Marilyn Monroe memorabilia.  I have a variety of color and Marilyn Monroe Black + White Posters as well.  I keep them framed nicely all over my house.  I have friends that like to collect posters of their favorite celebrities as well, so I send them to the same online source I use for all my posters.  I get what I want at a price I can afford.  I have to admit that I like Marilyn Monroe so much that I have dressed up like her every Halloween since the 1980s.  I have just about every one of her most popular outfits in replicas.

I think that the black clothing the band members usually wear is perfect for their image. I am tired of weird hair and thick white paint smeared on band members faces. The grunge look doesn’t work for me either. The lords of altamont guys act wild enough on stage so they don’t need to dress in crazy costumes. They are all trim and good looking, while giving the impression of being just a little dangerous and able to walk on the wild side with ease. The black outfits are a perfect foil for the amazing light shows and the go go dancers. Is it terrible to say they remind me a little of the Beatles of long a go. Different music, but the same kind of stage magic.

Italian cooking is probably my favorite of all the foods I could possibly eat. It is so light and fresh. I know I must be italian to me core because I could eat it for every meal, and never get tired of it. I was just reading the other day about light italian cooking. I know some people would say that almost everything italian is light, but I know that is not true. I want to be healthy and stay in shape, but still have as much pasta as I want. So, I am learning how to cook my favorite meals lighter. 

I’ve been doing my best to find interesting things to listen to while we’re on the road. Found this one site with literally thousands of free podcasts this afternoon. They’ve got everything from music shows, to Shakespeare plays on audio. We’ll be driving for 15 hours at a stretch, so I need to make sure we’ve got plenty of variety to keep alert.

Still not sure I want Janet to drive much. She can be such a space case sometimes. I guess we’ll see. At least we’ve got stuff to listen to and we’ll have plenty of snacks packed so we won’t have to stop as often.

I have decided that I want to get some sort of tattoo that will represent each of my kids. However, I am not sure how to go about that. Maybe a flower for each of them? Anyways, I would love it if someone could point me to some websites with tattoo gallery designs so I could get a better idea of what might work out best. I want something simple and small that I can cover up if I need to. I am hoping I will see something I like and that I can adapt for my purposes since I am anxious to get my tattoo now that I have decided to do it.

I have been thinking about pursuing a career in the culinary arts. I have always had a passion for cooking and would love to turn that passion into a profitable career change. But first I would like to get some information on a culinary apprenticeship. I think that would be a great way for me to get my foot in the door and to get some valuable experience. I have been looking online to see what is out there. If I can find something, I will start applying and taking courses so that I can get my new career path started.

Last week I went on a date with this man I’ve known for a few months now.  I was really nervous about spending time with him because the only time we’ve spent so far was just at work.  When he came to pick me up he said that he had a surprise for me and he took me to this nice kosher restaurants city.  I had never been to a kosher restaurant, and I was really excited to see what they had to offer.  The way they prepare food is different but the flavors were so great that I knew I would come back.
