Compensated For Work Well Done
I accepted a receptionist position at a dentistry office. It was a fairly new office and the dentist had not yet been able to properly decorate. He was a great dentist, but I felt he would attract far more business if his office was more attractive. He told me that he did not have the time to think about that and if I wanted to do it that I had his approval. He gave me his credit card and told me to go for it. I ordered some beautiful woven shades to go at the windows and book racks to sit below them. He was very happy with what I had done, and even gave me a bonus on my next check.
