The Convention
At our physics and mathematics convention this summer, we had a wonderful comedian open the first day of workshops. This was the first year we had a comedian. It was so nice to hear the customized comedy act that he put together. Workshops take most of the day and they are far from mentally exciting. Most of the classes are all about numbers and formulas, which can be boring and tenuous. That bit of comedy at the beginning of the day sure helped my mind wake up and get ready for the long 7 hours ahead. I hope they can get the same comedian back for next years convention.
