Edwardian period dress

There remains a fascination with the style and fashion from a hundred years ago, during the Edwardian period. My particular interest is the British fashion, particularly London during the Edwardian period, which was a little different to the fashion and style in parts of the Americas at that time. 

There seem to be far more Edwardian London photographs to refer to than others, for some reason. Perhaps more of the photographs managed to survive from that time, who knows. 

As part of my college course I’m studying historic style and have decided to focus on this particular period. It means I’ll have to design and create some clothes in that style, which is going to be a fascinating process over the next few weeks.
