Acoustic Guitar Lesson From The Blind Alcoholic
Once I had this really eclectic girlfriend. Notice I said “had” instead of “have,” as in she dumped me on my you know what. But she was interested in all different kinds of things. Once she took an acoustic guitar lesson from a blind guy she met at a homeless shelter. She used to hang out at homeless shelters because she said that was where the “real” people hang out. This blind guy taught her all kinds of chords, and riffs and how to improvise. It’s a shame a guy with such talent had to live at a homeless shelter, but she said that he had an alcohol problem. Every time she gave him some money, he would go spend it on booze.
